I am Joseph Rokacz and I have been practicing Trust and Estates law for over ten years. For those reading this who aren't familiar with Trust and Estates law, it generally means I can prepare your Will for you as well as take care of all your other estate planning needs.

I chose this speciality because of personal experiences I had dealing with my own family's issues concerning wealth transfer (also known as lack of proper planning) and estate administration. Not only do some lawyers misunderstand the real needs clients have at this most difficult moment, they lack the communications skills necessary to properly assist their client in understanding their needs in a clear and simple way. Through me, your estate will be customized to fulfill your needs and wishes.

I have had experience dealing with the division and distribution of family assets as well as business. This often helps me in advising my clients with practical wealth transfer.

I have also enclosed a section titled Articles which include a few New York Times obituaries that speak about a person's "legacy," which, after all, is part of the reason for leaving a will. The fact that they are not all flattering highlights why I believe one's legacy is so important.
